Front-end Developer

• Expert knowledge in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3)
• Precision

Mobile Developer

• Expert knowledge in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3)
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile development
• Unobtrusive JavaScript
• Experience with jQuery Mobile or other mobile frameworks
• Experience with Sencha Touch is a plus

HAML/SASS Developer

• Expert knowledge in front-end development (HTML5, CSS3)
• Strong HAML/SASS skills
• Unobtrusive JavaScript (we’re using jQuery)
• Familiarity with Compass framework and Middleman development environment
• Ability to work in command line
• Basic understanding of Ruby on Rails and MVC architecture is a plus
• Knowledge of Compass plugins (for example Susy) is a plus

JavaScript Developer

We're on the lookout for advanced JavaScript developer who is able to:

• Utilize expert knowledge of plain old Javascript—be able to write code that doesn't require a library like jQuery.
• Understand and embrace prototypal inheritance, i.e. JavaScript-flavored object oriented programming (OOP)
• Know how code is encapsulated in JavaScript
• Grok how closures work and be adept at using callbacks and asynchronous operations (e.g. XHR)
• Expert knowledge of jQuery - be able to write jQuery plugins
• Be familiar with the new APIs that HTML5 introduces and what browsers support them.
• Bonus: experience writing server-side JavaScript in Node.js

WordPress Developer

We're on the lookout for advanced WordPress developer who is able to:

• Populate functions.php with any helper functions used by themes, and breaking up the functions.php into logical includes.
• Embrace the use of get_template_part() to break up your themes into reusable partials.
• Create custom shortcodes, such as overriding default [gallery]
• Add filters and actions to modify default WordPress behavior
• Create widgets with custom fields manageable in the WP admin.
• Add custom post types with metaboxes for custom fields (postmeta)
• Construct custom taxonomies
• Create custom WP admin page for managing theme and plugin settings
• Maximize the use of the WordPress dependency management system to register and enqueue scripts and stylesheets programmatically
• Be well familiar with the WordPress Codex, with the functions, Template Tags, and plugin hooks documented there
• Be adept at operating on the command line, running scripts and shelling in to other servers for deployments.
• Have experience with SVN and/or Git.

We aren't looking merely for people who know plugins that do these things; we want developers who can do these things from scratch.

HTML Email Developer
